Credit Flexibility

Credit Flexibility is a major change in state education policy that takes effect in fall 2010. Credit Flexibility will significantly broaden the ways high school credit can be earned in Ohio. According to the policy, options will include:

  • Completing coursework
  • Testing out or demonstrating mastery of course content
  • Distance learning
  • Pursuing an "educational option," such as a senior project, postsecondary coursework, an internship, service learning, or a research-based project

Details of Sycamore's implementation of Credit Flexibility will be announced sometime this spring. To learn more about Credit Flexibility, browse these external resources.
